Community Outreach

The support Salvador Molly’s has received from the surrounding community for over 11 years has been warm and unending. As we have grown, it has been our pleasure to pitch in and help a wide range of local groups doing wonderful work in our area. From Oregon Heat to farmers' markets to Casa, Northwest Medical Teams and many more, but with special emphasis on local schools. Our ongoing School of the Month program is especially satisfying since tightening budgets have severely limited the kind of broad based, enriching education we all want for future generations of Oregonians.

As we travel and enjoy foods from an ever expanding list of cultures, our concept of community widens along with our palates. The tremendous pleasure we get from the foods of many third world countries inspires us to want to share a small measure of our plenty with the people who created it. The Fill The Cup campaign of the World Food Programme feeds hungry children a nutritious lunch as a reward for going to school. By enriching their bodies as well as their minds, this simple inexpensive program is transforming tens of thousands of lives in many of the countries whose cuisines we enjoy at Salvador Molly’s. Look for the red cup next to several items on our menus. Each time they are served, we’ll donate a school lunch to a child that really needs it. Thank you for helping us help our many “communities.”
